Response to- Is nanotechnology going to send us all to hell?

nanotechnology vs jesus

So the question is posted whether nanotechnology will send hell?

No.   Nanotechnology won’t in and of itself send us to hell, but rather choosing to reject Christ as God’s redemption.

The problem with nanotechnology is that it will cause many to place their faith in the miracles created from the hands of man because they will appear as “fire from heaven”.

Revelation 13:13—– And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people.

The Christian perspective of heaven or hell is simple.   Placing trust in the unseen vs Placing trust in what is seen.

It is simply an issue of where we will place our faith.

I am fascinated with computer science, physics, and cosmology.   To me, they complement the scripture.

There are two lies to address:

First;  To have faith in Christ will require a complete abandonment of the intellect.  This is simply false.   It is totally possible to use and enjoy our God given intellect, while at the same time, believing 100% in Jesus Christ.

The lie is sneaky because, in my view, many Christians in debating have added to the scriptures and gone beyond yes.  Mathew 5:36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

This passage is so important and has caused so much destruction.

When it all is boiled down,  none of us know anything.   All we have is faith.

Science places that faith in what they can prove and Christians place it in hrist.

However, to abandon our intelligence completely would be in error as well.

Genesis 3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

The big lie.

Satan told Eve that if we ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that we would be like God.   While this was partly true,  it was not 100% true.   We were tricked into doubt and instantly the knowledge of good and evil sprang into existence.

We have many qualities that are like God, however, being like him does not equate to being him.

So we were tricked and knowledge of good and evil sprang into our world..

God certainly gave us all the quality of  intelligence.  It is part of us as well as part of Him.

It is a wonderful gift from Him that we should use to explore His creation.

We can use our intellect as a tool to increase our faith in Him.

It is the original lie from Satan that claims that our judgement of right or wrong will make us Gods.

It has always been this way,  and always will.

Even as the Beast arises from us all.

Scientists….   You are all loved and treasured by our creator.  He loves you and blessed you all with the wonderful gifts of your intellect.

Faith in Christ IS easy and completely possible, without rejecting the desire to discover truth.

This desire is God given and can be used to glorify Him.

No matter how many God-like qualities we create for ourselves out of knowledge,  we are not, nor ever will replace God.
