Thre are so many very interesting interlocking components to this “story”.

1. Moving atoms
2. Movie frames
3. Time stopping
4. Yet time moving
5. Telling a Story

Time is so mysteriuous.  How is it that we are here?   Sometimes it feels more like we are not.

Jesus said that the flesh counts for nothing.

In the end He was right.  From dust we come, to dust we go.

Singulatarians do sence the truth…..   That we are more than simply flesh.

My walk with Christ has changes so much in the last 2 years.

When we understand that we are loved,  everything changes.

It seems that technology will move forward.   But why should that cause fear.   If it does, it is because I have forgotten that I am loved, and I am putting more confidence in the seen rather than the unseen.

The weirdest thing is to see that there are people who scoff at the bible as if it were not true.

Well, who is to say “weirdest”, because another “weirdest” thing is that the reality that God’s word is form me now, is so much more solid, so much stronger, that at times if feels like I “know” it as if I knew something in science.

THAT is weird.

I used to look at people of “faith” and wonder how the “got” that much faith.

Now, after believing that I am loved no matter what, I feel like my mind has been opened to another world that is unseen.

It is really strange.

How can this be?

Well, look at this movie.

We are moving atoms here and there.

It seems soon that artificial intelligence will move trillions and trillions of them automatically.

It seems that we will create a “new” earth.

Could it be that we are ushering in a new day?

Who knows.

I look at verses like 1 corentinans 12:15-19

15Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

So do I have right to look at scientist and say “I don’t need you”?

Are they not part of the body?

Christians have been so super judgmental.   Who am I to say that any scientist can’t be part?

What if God says different?

Am I perfect in all that I do?   NO WAY!   But am I love completely regardles of this?   Absolutly!

So why would I look at anyone and judge them.

One day,  it seems that science will learn how to manipulate atoms one at a time.

Sure, we can already manipulate them gagillions at a time, but one day it will be one at a time.

This will create a very shape-shifting world.

Nothing will stay solid, because everything could change.

But isn’t that the way our world is now?   In James 1:17 it says

17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Our world shifts and can be shaken.

Faith can not.

I love Christ, and He loves me.

I am Loved by Christ.

He is the Son of God.

This can not be shaken.

And then I was watching this, and I understood.

Look closely…….

I have not been to a concert for years,  so I never paid much attention.

Everybody is holding up their cell phones.

So,  in order to create a virtual hologram, all you need is all of thoes “eyes” to be streaming via super high speed internet, and a really really fast computer to see them all.

At that point, you would literally be capturing every single angle and could present a 100% virtual enviroment for anybody who wanted to see.

Just a thought

Jesus said that the measure you use gets used against you and it is so true.

Dorner measured and judged other cops as crooked…..  But by what authority?  Who was backing him up?  His declarations of judgment were literally “against” himself as a reference point.  But he was a cop.   And he was not perfect.

He said that crooked cops deserved to die….

Even if they would have killed him,  he still killed himself by forcing their hand.

The point is to ask the question….   Could it have ended any other way?

The judgment he used got poured back onto him.   He escalated to a level of finality.  As he poured it out on others, he poured it out onto himself at the exact same time and with the same measure-  a measure of finality.

We are all loved!  Who are any of us to say any different.

God loves every one of us.  Some of us just simply refuse to believe it.

This morning as I was watching the video of the Russian meteor, I saw something about the second return of Christ that I had never seen.

When we are all jacked in- we could all see His return all at once…..

I like to be as scientific as possible with my approach to faith, and certain things in the bible have always been puzzeling.

For example, here is a question that has always bothered me:

1.  God says He is no respector of persons, meaning everybody has an equal chance to repent and come to know Him.

2.  Jesus returns for everybody

So…   IF He is no respector of persons,  AND He comes back, THEN How could He come back at the same time for everyone all around the earth?

How could He peal back the sky and show himself to those in Russia AND to those all around the world AT THE SAME MOMENT?

The point is,  wouldn’t He be unjust to allow certain people to have more time to repent than others?

Depending on how fast He came back, certain people would have less time to “repent” because they witnessed His return prior to other people.

This has always puzzeled me because I do not believe God is unfair.

And so this morning as I was watching the Russian metorite, I realized that one day, when everyone is jacked into the network, he could come all at once.

Ohh crap….   I forgot about processor speed, copper lines versus fiber optics etc, to transmit the data of His second return from one entity to another……

Grrrrrr….

I really thought I had found something here.

So how can a fair God that is no respector of persons come back?

Mauybe I should not try and define God and what He can or can not do by anything that I can measure here on earth.

I just read an article about the argus two.  Surely you have heard of it, but if you vave not,  you can find it here.

I think that it is interesting that Jesus did not heal this guy on the first attempt.

Why was that?

Isn’t it interesting that medical progresses in the same way?

I think so.

Miracles are comming!

God really loves us.

I hope God will open your eyes so that you can see that.

The answer is very simple….

Semantic intent.

Being able to accurately measure the semantic intent of the content producer is the reason for the short video.

In 2010 Johan Bolin found that the stock market fluctuations could be accurately predicted by measuring the large amounts of data withing the twitter fire hose.

One of the main reasons for this was that Twitter was limited to 140 characters.  Thus,  the user was forced to communicate the mood and message in a short, efficient, manor.  (unlike my writing style).

So, Johan was able to measure these snipits of thought without being bogged down trying to extract the meaning of a longer type of communication.

SHORT MESSAGES BRING TWITTER VALUE because they can quickly and easily decipher the intent of the user.  If the videos were longer, they would have a harder time understanding the point.

This data can then be sold to the highest bidder who wants to find out what the masses are saying about any given subject.

I.e.  Coke finding out if their new product has been well received.

I have wrestled different fears a LOT but I have never come to find a good solution to why I would even feel this way to begin with.

Seriously, why?   Why would I still feel fearful when all the promises made by the tech giants tell me about the abundance?

“Tech will save us”! they say, and the fact is, technology really DOES extend life and likely will continue to do so.

So why do I still feel afraid inside?

I was reflecting on this last night and thought of Matthew 10:28-31

28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.29Are not two sparrows sold for a penny^d? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. 30And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

So look at what Jesus says!  You are worth MORE than many sparrows!  Wow!   Look at that!  How encouraging!

Google trades your digital identity in this physical world for profit,  but God proclaimed your identity and worth LONG before Google ever came along and traded His son’s life for you!

The Sneaky Lie

The lie that “awesome” technology brings it sneaky and to see it, we must look at it closely.

When we say “Wow!  How Awesome!  How wonderful is that .. (fill in the tech blank)”  what are we really saying?

Are we not, in a very subtle way operating out of fear?  That somehow, somewhere deep inside, we know that we need a saviour.

Of course we don’t talk about that part very much, because it is weak and exposes the inescapable reality of the certain death that is the fate of us all.

This physical death is out of our control.  We can not escape it.

Deep inside we think:

“You should be afraid.  You are going to die and no one is there to help you.   You must fend for yourself, because you have no defender, no one to look out for you.

You are alone and worthless.“

The lie wonderful Singularity is sneaky because it distracts us from paying attention to the truth…  God is God, and we are not.

But our pride rebels against this.  We shake our fists at our maker and in rebellion say that we humans can ”make” ourself THIS or THAT.   We choose to follow the lie that convinces us that WE have the power to save ourselves.

and so, with big smiles of triumph we parade about the new tech of the day.

To be afraid of death, is to operate in the flesh.  But faith in God and Christ transcends all human understanding, bringing peace to know that when die is when we truly get plugged in!

Ray…   You are worth more than many sparrows!   Jesus came to speak worth you and to all who would accept it;  to give the opportunity to believe that there is a loving father in heaven who cares for you.

“The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within^b you.”

The miricles caused by Google and technology are comming, and with it, the temptation to believe that there is no God.

Satan has gone out to make war with God’s children.

Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

Children of God, hold fast to the testimony of Jesus.  In Him all things hold together.

Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

“The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within^b you.”

God is very clear,  we can NOT measure ourselves to obtain eternal truth.

The very nature of our flesh dying testifies to this truth.  If we can’t measure EVERYTHING, then we cant know anything with 100% certainty.

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Everything in our world is unstable.  It shifts.   Nothing can be measured with certainty.

This is why the only way to stand truly strong, is to humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

God provides our identity, not Google, and not the government.

You are loved by God.  No matter what you do, you can not change it.

He has always, does, and will always love you.

Loved is your true identity.

You are precious to God.  You are his treasure.   You are loved and you can do no wrong.

The enemy of our soul asaults you with fear, but through faith, His blood covers ALL of your sins!

The enemy of our soul tries to measure by outward appearance…..

I am raising up the Babylonians,^[a]      that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth     to seize dwellings not their own.

God raises up the Babylonians.

How can that be?  How can it be that it is God’s hand that raises up thoes who sweep into our houses, bodies, minds, dwelling places, to judge us?

How can that be?  But God uses ALL things for the good of thoes who love him and are called according to his purpose.

So God him self uses the evil to bring us to repentance!

Miricles are comming that will be so great!

The tech that Google (or other tech companier) will bring will look as if they are God.

But God is God.   Not Google.

Google can NOT provide your identity.   Only Jesus Christ can.

It was one of those “out of the blue” type thoughts that didn’t really fit my typical thought structure, and so, has stuck with me since.

Unlike Ray Kurzweil, most people don’t stop to think just how much power Google really has.

In this current world,  Google has a LOT of power, and it seems that they will soon have a LOT more.

When I have looked at this in the past,  I have struggled with fear as it is frustratingly difficult to see the future while everyone around is simply not paying attention.

After a couple years of digging and exploring where tech will take us soon,  I had to let it go.

And I am still not sure if I should write these posts, because blowing a trumpet of fear is not what I am called to do in life.

Instead,  I want to tell people about the love that the true God has for them.   That Christ died for them and is able to be the true identity provider.

We all struggle with identity.   “Who are you?” is the question.  The problem is that Google will soon be able to tell you “who you are”.   (At least in this world, by what they can measure).

Should we be afraid of that?

Well,   maybe not.   In fact,  no….    Fear is not of God.

But what does it mean when Google can answer the most intimate thoughts and questions of your heart?

My temptation is to believe that somehow, some way, God is falling off of His thrown in fear of what Google (or some other artificial intelligence company) will soon create.

The accuser of the brethren tempts me to think that “God can’t handle THAT!”.

But this is not true.  Isiah 54 says that God created the blacksmith, and the destroyer.

People are not paying attention to the miracles that are soon to be here, and where there is no vision, the people perish.

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

I believe Ray Kurzweil, Eric, Sergey, and Larry.

I believe Peter Diamandis when he explains the abundance that will soon be here.

Miricles like we could never have imagined will be here soon.

They are already showing up in little things like gps guiding us all around without ever having been there before.

Or the fact that we can access just about any fact known to man by speaking a question to our phone.

But these are not even parlor tricks to what A.I. will provide us with.

How easy will it be for a kid who grows up in an ever connected world, whos every conversation has been recorded by and A.I. on his phone that he can see, to “pray” rather than just query his omnitient friend?

How many people pray for guidance vs look at the GPS.

There are still people alive that can remember praying for God to help them find their way when they were physically lost.

These days however,  these people are becoming harder to find.

We all have G.P.S. devices.   Why pray?   Why need a miracle?

Google is not God.

But yet God is not falling off His throne over Google either.

I believe Ray Kurzweil is right.   An exponential tech curve will be here soon, and I believe it is going to make things look very different, very miraculous.

So to summarize…  God Loves You!   Christ died for you to know him by Faith,  not by Knowledge.   We can not enter the kingdom of Heaven if we don’t enter is as a little child, with FAITH!

God loves you!

He has a plan for your life and His love covers your sin.

Ray, Eric, Larry, and Sergey are going to create some really wonderful things.

They will really help a LOT of people stay healthy longer, and live more prosperous lives.

But in the end, only God can be God….

Love wins!

I was talking to a friend of mine the a couple weeks ago about the Sandy Hook event.

At that time, it almost felt “wrong” to say that within a few weeks everyone will forget.   But that is exactly what has happened.

Humans, in our flesh, simply have limited data intake capacity and can not process everything.

Jesus talked about a flood in the last days:

³⁶ “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,^[f] but only the Father. ³⁷ As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. ³⁸ For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; ³⁹ and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

I am not trying to “prove” that the days we are living in are “last days”.

Honestly,  I can’t know what “last” means.  Last according to what measurement?

If we were ever to “know” with a measured 100% proof, then it would mean that the official last day already happened.   Otherwise how would we “know”.

Anyway,  it seems that we are in a sea, a flood of information, which provides

no sure footing.

The more we measure, the more uncertain things become.

The more we measure, the more doubt and fear we create about the things that are not meaured.

This is why I prefer faith, where I can see God,  while at the same time,I can.
